重厚なレザーで形成されたこちらのトレッキングブーツは
定番の人気商品として知られ、
従来のトレッキングブーツに製品染めを施しヴィンテージな雰囲気を放つ。
The trekking boots that is formed by heavy atmosphere leathers is one of popular products of GUIDI.
It make people feel vintage because of the interesting dye method “object dye”.
硬い素材感が特徴でもあるトレッキングブーツだが
アンクル部分にはクッション性があり、歩行時の動きをサポートしてくれる。
それにより無理なく履くことができる為、
ゆっくりと時間をかけ自分の足型に育てていく事ができる。
Although the material is hard, the ankle cushions act as buffers that support moving.

“19TREKKING BOOTS”の製品と比べ
タンの長さが長くボリュームがある作りである。
Comparing to the “19 trekking boots”, it has voluminous silhouette
especially long tongues and shafts.
前者のタウンユースな面持ちに比べ、こちらの製品は本格的なトレッキングに適した使用となっている。
The boots are better forming for real trekking than “19 trekking boots”.
素材は丁寧に鞣されたレザーを使用し、製品としての形を形成した後に
樽のような染色装置に入れ、回しながらじっくりと染め上げる。
この手法は「タンブラーダイ」と呼ばれる。
樽の中で他の製品とぶつかりながら染色されていく為、
革には「よれ感」や金具には「錆び」が生まれ、独特の風合いを醸し出すようになる。
The leather is tanned with special care. It is gradually dyed in barrel by rolling. The method is called “Tumbler Dye”. In this processes, shoes got to wear specific atmosphere because they were hit with other products many times in this barrel.
更に特筆すべき点はディテールである。
シャフトは上部に進むにつれて、レザーの厚みを薄くモデュレイトしている。
特に動きの多いアンクル部分を馴染み易くする事で
着用時に無理のない動きを実現している。
Especially, the shaft leather is slighter than the upper leather.
Therefore it realizes great aging processes with comfortable wearing though the heavy atomosphere boots.
従来トレッキングブーツでシューレース部分に用いられる
「ボウルベアリングフック」を使用。
And the other different point is ball bearing hook that is for lubricant to move shoe lace is used on this model.
またノルウィージャン製法で製作されたトレッキングブーツは
他の製法と違いウェルトを内側に入れず外側に出し、
L字型に折りアッパーとソールの境目に埋める。
この製法により防水性を高める事ができる。

ソールにはVibramソールを使用。
登山家であるヴィターレ・ブラマーニにより1937年に設立されたビブラム社。
軽さ・耐久性・機能性そして安全性の高いラバーソールで知られている。
グリップ力も増し、Vibramソールのボリューム感がカジュアルからモードまで幅広いスタイリングに適応する。
Soles are attached Vibram rubbers.
An alpinist Vitale Bramani found “Vibram S.p.A”.
The rubber soles are known as great lightness, durableness, functionality and safety.
And the voluminous design adapt to many scenes, for instance casual and mode styling.
GUIDIは毎シーズンブラック以外のカラーをアップデートする。
ホワイト・グレイ・レッドでもシーズンが異なれば色合いも微妙に異なる為
そのシーズンのみのカラーであり同じものは二度と製作されない。
GUIDI renews all color without black every season. Hence, the white color is not same to last season one as it appears to be.
また素材には体毛を取り除いただけの天然皮革が使用され
革の表面は様々な外的影響を受けて自然にできた傷が残っている。
このように自然なまま傷などを隠さず、
鑢をかけたり磨いたりしていないものを「フルグレインレザー」と呼ぶ。

The material is natural leather that is only removed the hair.
So on the surface of it looks some scars because of external factors.

写真右は4年着用したトレッキングブーツである、
ワイズの幅が使用者の足型に広がりトゥーは反り上がった形状に記憶されている。
また革の油分が表面に現れ光沢感を増している。
Right one have been used for 4 years.
Width is broaden to fit feet and the shape is fixed.
And inner oil appears on the surface that make it glossier.
着用に伴い染料が落ちヌメ革の色が浮き出ているのが分かる。
使用していない物と比べ着用しているものはシューレース横の金具部分に
強い着用皺が入っている。
本来トレッキングブーツは素材が固く足馴染みに時間を要するが
GUIDIシューズの場合製品染めで染められている為馴染みやすい。
