This is the usual method to create knit that is “cut & sawing”.
The way is cutting fabrics to form agreeable shape
and sawing hems with over lock sawing machine for avoiding frays.
It has an advantage that is easy way for mass products.
On the contrary, the looks are not good because the low of stitches around joint parts are disarranged.

編み目は奇麗に整列され、ロックミシンを使用しない丁寧に始末を施している為、
リバーシブルとして使用できる。

And this is the knit of LABEL UNDER CONSTRUCTION.
The low of knit stitches are drawn up in beautiful lines.
Moreover, it is reversible wear because of the careful knitting without over lock sawing machine.

カッティングをせずに美しいラインを造り出す技術も当ブランド独自のものである。
アームと脇下のシームに平行して２本小さな穴のラインがある事がわかる。
これは”increase & decrease”と呼ばれる彼が生み出したシェイピング技術の一つである。
編み目を増減させる事でシーム部分の編み目を乱す事なくシェイピングする技術である。

The technique to create beautiful line of knit is also original of this maison.
On the arm and lower side, there are two parallel holes lines.
This technique is called ”increase & decreasing” that Luca Raurini devised.
The holes namely derive from increasing and decreasing knit stitches
and it can realize beautiful shaping without disarrangement of low of knit stitch lines.

シームの内側にある穴のラインはシェイピングの為。
また外側のラインは、綿等の軽い素材に生じる生地の「張り」を調整する為に施される。
この通り、デザインだと捉えられがちなこの穴の配列は極めて技術的な側面を持ち、より完成されたフォルムへと導く為の構造的なものなのである。

And the reason of two holes lines is that an inner line is for shaping,
and an outer is for adjusting the tension that is occurred in using this shaping technique for light material such as cotton.
In this way, the holes lines has a technical aspect for reaching sophisticated form
although they are actually misunderstood as a design.

このようなプリント技術を使用する故、
リバーシブルとして使用する際は表と裏で微妙に異なる色の濃淡を楽しむ事ができる。

Because of the method of print, there are little differences of outside and inside colors.
Hence, the owner might be satisfied with the light and shade in using as a reversible piece.
